Rewards

Rigour, tradition spirit and unique know-how allow the Ducs de Gascogne to be rewarded regularly at the time of the “Concours Général Agricole” in Paris.
More than 20 medals are attesting the quality of our foies gras (below, the last received rewards).

IGP label

Ducs de Gascogne defends the origin, quality and traceability of products derived from duck foie gras from Gascony.
This label certifies that our foies gras and duck confits are from ducks fed with corn, bred, stuffed and cooked in Gascony, and it is guaranting for you:
  - A constant control of our raw materials to the final product
  - A traceability and a food security:  transparent and controlled.

Organic label

Since 2009, Ducs de Gascogne produces an organic range of products. 100% of the ingredients present in those recipes are obtained according to an organic production process.
The Organic farming ensures a quality linked with a process of production respectful regarding the environment and the well-being of the animals.
-    With this process of production, the organic farming is distinguishable by:
-    the non-use of synthetic chemical products
-    the recycling of organic materials
-    the crop rotation

Product Quality

Ducs de Gascogne is certified IFS (International Food Standard, version 5) in order to ensure quality and safety of sterilized manufactured products (blocs of foie gras, terrines, pates, rillettes, puree and crushed vegetables).
This is to continuously improve customer satisfaction:
- Responsibility and commitment from the direction
- Evaluation and improvement of our processes
- HACCP process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
- Traceability of raw materials

Security of persons and property

HSE (Health & Safety Executive) in collaboration with the Management focuses on improving safety, hygiene and working conditions of employees :
- Evaluation and prevention of occupational risks
- Continuous improvement of ergonomic workstations
- Training (hygiene, risk management)
- Compliance maintain of the work equipments.

Environment : Reducing the impact of our business

Ducs de Gascogne is engaged in the regional approach to environmental management in the Midi-Pyrenees in collaboration with ADEME:
- Improvement of the integration in our landscape (green area maintenance and flow management)
- Sorting and recycling
- Saving energy and water (cooking autoclave with an economic mode)
- Sales of recycled packaging: our illustrated suitcases and cardboard boxes are composed of more than 95% of paper made from recycled fibers.
- Wedging of products (in our package) made of biodegradable materials:
- 100% natural and 100% biodegradable;
- wood fiber, environmentally friendly product contributing to the forest appreciation.
